THE HOW & WHAT
Interpreting regulations & putting them into practice can be challenging. Below are strategies to ensure this component is met:
CDD-801A, Monthly Child Care Population Information is the collection in which all agencies report specific information on all families receiving subsidized services.
Due on the 20th of the month following the end of the report period. Exp. Nov 2017 report is due by Dec 20, 2017.
Not submitted by the final date on late notification will have apportionments withheld until report is submitted.
Revise reports as soon as possible if discrepancies are found between what was reported & actually served. Reports are locked after 60 days after they are due.
CDD-801B, Monthly Sample Report is the monthly collection limited to about 250 families randomly sampled from all CDD-801A statewide submittals for a given month.
Agency Directors identified in CDMIS are notified by letter if a family has been selected in the CDD-801B sample.
Letter indicates the sampled month, the number of families sampled & the date the information is due. You will be given 14 days from the date on the notification letter to complete the reports on your families.
CDMIS (Data System)
Child care agencies can log on to the Child Development Management Information System (CDMIS) to fulfill their reporting requirements (password required). Data may either be entered directly (Web Input/Edit) or through an Electronic File Upload
