Google Chrome is the best browser to use when exploring the eLearning platform.

Note: If using Internet Explorer you will run into obstacles as Microsoft discontinued development & is no longer updating the explorer browser.

Great tool for self-paced new employee or refresher training, live trainings & as a day-to-day desk reference manual.

Easily editable guides are designed in PowerPoint. 

eLearning members may update the resource guides to meet the unique needs of each agency.

Forms/Tools

Most forms/tools are designed in Microsoft Word® or Excel® making them easy to edit.

Forms/Tools are located within each module’s strategies & the tool bar resources

eLearning members may edit, add their logo, agency information & use freely



Sample Parent Handbooks

Editable handbooks are designed in PowerPoint & may be exported as a PDF.

Print and/or embed on your website.

They may also be used to present your program orientations too! 


Knowledge Checks

Individual Knowledge Checks may be accessed 2 different ways:

  • Direct Link: Links are embedded throughout most courses

  • Classroom: Administrator may assign, track & analyze Knowledge Checks using the classroom feature. Individual users then login to the classroom to access assigned & pending Knowledge Checks.

Administrators may view reports of all users Knowledge Check activity (Instructions)

Group Knowledge Checks may be accessed from direct links embedded throughout many of the courses. The facilitator must sign-up for a free Kahoot.com account


How Agencies are Using the eLearning Platform

 

New Employee Training

Guide new employees through the orientation/training process using:

  • Orientation checklist as a guide to complete applicable modules followed by individual knowledge checks; or

  • Administrator may assign, track & analyze Knowledge Checks using the Classroom Feature

  • Resource Guides based on position & program type are also great tools for orienting new employees & may serve as a desk reference manual too

Group Trainings

Trainer/Facilitator share video lessons, which include the regulations & sample of what this might look like in practice. After each lesson the trainer discusses how the regulation is implemented within their agency. 

Make group trainings fun & engaging using already built Kahoots/Group Knowledge Checks. Access from direct links embedded under training videos.

Refresher/Updates & Forms/Tools

Forms/tools are available in Word, Excel or PowerPoint making them easy to edit. Just add agency information & you are ready to implement a program requirement

Use as a tool when an employee needs a refresher as it relates to a specific requirement

Use as a tool to easily adjust & educate staff when there are updates to the requirements
