The purpose of the Program Compliance Playbook is to assist agencies/sites funded by California’s Early Learning & Care (ELC) Division with setting up systems to ensure compliance & to help staff understand their “piece in the puzzle”. The guide aligns with the ELC Program Instrument & designed to plan for staff training, assign responsible staff, develop timelines & strategies to ensure programs are “review ready” at all times.
